First identify the unfinished step

A Gate account can be registered while identity verification is still unfinished. That distinction matters when someone says that sign-up “did not work.” An email-code problem, a document-upload problem and a pending identity decision need different evidence. This guide helps a new web user identify the failed step and make a useful next decision. It does not promise access to a particular product, a referral benefit or an individual review deadline.

If you already have an account, begin with that account's login and verification status. Creating another account is not a diagnostic test. Likewise, a screenshot of an advertised reward says nothing about whether your identity application was submitted. Keep account readiness and offer eligibility as separate questions.

Follow the web flow, then record what actually finished

The official Gate web registration guide, checked on 12 October 2026, describes Register, residence selection, email or phone registration, contact-code confirmation and then password creation. It also states that an email address or phone number can register one account.

Treat that sequence as a map, not proof that every step succeeded on your device. Record the last screen that completed and the first screen that did not. You do not need to copy a password or one-time code into the record. A date, the contact method and the observed result are enough to distinguish most stages for an initial inquiry.

For example, “I can log in, but have not submitted an identity application” is more useful than “my registration failed.” It tells you to investigate verification rather than restart account creation. Conversely, someone who cannot finish contact confirmation should not start collecting unrelated address documents as a solution to that earlier problem.

Watch the handoff between your phone and browser

Gate's web identity guide places verification under the profile icon, Identification and Verify Now. It describes a direct web route, a phone-assisted route and a gesture-photo alternative. The phone route includes returning to the web flow. The published file guidance lists JPG/PNG images larger than 10 KB and no larger than 4 MB; check the active upload screen too.

The practical implication is to track the device handoff explicitly. A completion message on one screen should not be silently promoted into evidence that the entire account process finished. Ask: Which page displayed the message? Was it part of the same session? Is there still an outstanding submission screen? What does the account now show?

These questions do not require an extra account, another referral link or a test deposit. They require careful observation of the existing flow. If the screens disagree, describe that disagreement to official support instead of guessing that the account was accepted or rejected.

Use a stage-specific troubleshooting ledger

The following ledger is an editorial diagnostic tool, not an additional Gate requirement.

Observed stateUseful evidenceUnhelpful conclusion
Contact confirmation unfinishedEntered contact method and exact messageThe identity document was rejected
Login works, no identity submission recordedCurrent account and verification screenAnother registration is necessary
Phone step finished, browser still openLast screen on both devicesEvery step must already be complete
Submission recorded, decision pendingSubmission time and current statusRepeated uploads will speed it up
A correction is requestedRequested change and previous submissionAll information should be changed at once

Use the ledger to decide what to inspect next. It is not a guarantee of acceptance. If the account requests a document or action outside your understanding, ask what that request means before sending unrelated material. A precise question is more valuable than a large attachment bundle with no explanation.

Change one relevant variable at a time when investigating a technical problem. If you alter the browser, file, contact method and account together, you lose the ability to describe which change affected the result. A short record of the attempted change and the new message makes subsequent support correspondence easier to follow.

Separate file transmission from identity review

Uploading a file and passing identity review are different events. A file rejected immediately by an upload control has not necessarily reached document review. A successfully transmitted file, on the other hand, does not establish that its contents satisfy the identity request.

This distinction changes the wording of a support inquiry. “The file selector rejects this image before submission” points to a different stage from “submission completed and the account later requested corrected information.” Use the wording that matches the evidence, without attaching a speculative reason.

Consider two hypothetical cases. In the first, the browser refuses a selected image and shows an input error. The user should record the file properties and error shown, rather than conclude that a particular nationality is ineligible. In the second, the account displays a correction request after submission. The user should compare the requested correction with the submitted information rather than describe the issue as a network outage.

Neither example tells you to edit identity facts or substitute another person's document. The aim is to identify the actual stage and make the requested correction through the official process. Do not send identity files to an unrelated community chat simply because someone offers faster help.

Prepare a support note that preserves the sequence

A useful initial note has five fields: the environment, last successful step, problem screen, time with timezone, and changes already attempted. This is a suggested writing format, not a claim about Gate's mandatory ticket fields.

Here is an example to adapt: “I began in the web flow, continued the identity step on my phone, and returned to the browser. The browser still shows an unfinished submission screen. The last successful action was at the following time. I have not created another account.” Only include statements that are true for your case.

The note establishes a sequence without exposing passwords, authentication codes or recovery information. If official support requires account-identifying information, provide it through the requested official channel. Remove irrelevant personal details from screenshots and do not publish identity documents in public discussions.

Keep any case reference and the response. If the next message asks for a correction, record what was requested and what you changed. If it instead confirms that a review is pending, do not rewrite the record as approval. Precise status labels prevent a later helper from investigating the wrong problem.

Keep registration separate from referral economics

There are three different records: account creation, identity status, and the conditions of an offer. Finishing the first two does not prove entitlement under the third. An offer still needs a named provider, eligible account relationship, covered product and applicable timing.

The TradePayback Gate page is an information page for comparing the service's offer. It is not Gate's identity-review portal. Use the official exchange flow for registration and verification. Do not treat an external description as confirmation of your account's specific rate or rebate.

Before deciding whether to fund an account, establish that you can return to it and interpret its current status. There is no need to create a transaction merely to test whether registration succeeded. Trading costs and withdrawal routes deserve their own review; they are different questions from how to complete an application.

FAQ

Should I register again if I already have a Gate account?

Identify the existing account and the unfinished task first. Account recovery, identity review and a proposed change in referral relationship are separate matters. Ask the relevant official question rather than using another registration as an experiment.

Does a completed phone step mean the web application is finished?

Check the remaining browser screen and the account's recorded status. The device handoff described above is why a single completion message is insufficient evidence. If the two screens disagree, report the exact difference.

Will resubmitting documents make a pending review faster?

This guide has not verified that claim. Distinguish a request for a correction from a pending decision and respond to the actual state. An individual completion time cannot be inferred from someone else's experience.

Does this guide confirm cashback eligibility?

No. It helps with registration and identity-workflow troubleshooting. Offer eligibility requires separate evidence, and a completed account is not a rebate approval. Browse the guide library for the distinct questions about fees and program conditions.
