A referral code does not make every account relationship acceptable. The decisive questions are who creates and controls each account, who supplies the funds, who makes the trading decisions, and who receives the economic benefit. Toobit's compliance announcement expressly identifies self-referral, indirect self-referral, referrals involving common or coordinated control, and activity created to generate commissions, rebates, rewards, or artificial trading contribution as potentially prohibited conduct.

This guide is an account-relationship audit, not a promise that a referral or commission will be approved. Public rules can be updated, and a campaign may add narrower requirements. Check the latest Toobit Support Center notices and the terms displayed in the relevant program or Affiliate dashboard before treating any amount as earned. For a platform overview, use the Toobit exchange page. Other questions are separated in the guides index.

Separate an independent referral from affiliate participation and self-referral

An independent referral normally begins with a real user who receives a link, registers with that user's own information, funds the account independently, and makes trading decisions without control by the referrer. That description does not override campaign eligibility, location restrictions, product rules, or verification requirements. It only addresses the relationship between the two users.

Approved Affiliate or KOL participation is a separate relationship. Toobit's Affiliate Program Agreement defines an Affiliate Account, an Affiliate Code or Link, and a Client attributed under Toobit's rules. The agreement says client attribution and commissions are determined exclusively by Toobit's systems and rules. Approval as an affiliate does not authorize an affiliate to refer accounts that the affiliate controls, manufacture trading volume, or bypass a platform restriction.

Self-referral includes the obvious case of a person applying that person's own code to another account controlled by the same person. Indirect self-referral can be less obvious: a third party may be named as the account holder, while the referrer controls access, funding, orders, and the economic result. Toobit's policy also addresses accounts under common or coordinated control. A different email address, device, IP address, identity record, payment method, or wallet is not by itself proof that the accounts are independent.

RelationshipOperational questionPolicy significance
Independent customerDoes the customer control identity, access, funds, orders, and outcomes?May be a genuine referral, subject to all other rules
Approved affiliateWas an Affiliate Account and official Code or Link issued?Program agreement and dashboard rules apply
Direct self-referralDoes one person create or control both sides?Expressly listed as prohibited conduct
Indirect self-referralIs another name used while control or benefit remains common?Expressly listed as prohibited conduct

Use Toobit's two policy paths

The public policy path is available through the Toobit Support Center. Open the Affiliate Program Agreement and the compliance and risk control announcement. The first explains enrollment, promotion, attribution, reporting, penalties, and changes to program terms. The second explains how Toobit assesses related accounts, artificial activity, referral abuse, funding patterns, and enforcement.

An approved affiliate also has an account-specific path: the Affiliate dashboard. The agreement states that payout structures, currencies, schedules, thresholds, or eligibility criteria may change and that updates may be posted on the program page or dashboard. Do not substitute an old screenshot, a private chat, or a third-party calculator for the current account display.

Toobit's compliance approach is notable because it does not reduce the assessment to a single identifier. The notice says account links, trading behavior, funding and withdrawal patterns, campaign participation, affiliate relationships, overall economic outcomes, and other relevant indicators may be considered together. It also says separate devices, IP addresses, identity information, payment methods, or wallets do not necessarily prove independence.

The same notice provides an important balance: high trading frequency, short holding periods, or automated tools do not by themselves establish prohibited conduct. The overall circumstances and purpose matter. A compliance review is therefore not a guessing game about one technical signal. The correct task is to document the real relationship and stop any structure whose main purpose is to manufacture a platform benefit.

A six-check relationship audit

Use the following audit before applying a referral code or recognizing affiliate revenue. It does not guarantee approval. If an answer is unclear, leave the commission unconfirmed and request a written determination.

CheckEvidence to retainHigh-risk factAppropriate response
Account ownerRegistration and identity ownerA nominee exists while another person operates the accountRecord the actual control relationship
Access controlWho holds credentials and authenticationThe referrer logs in or controls security factorsStop account sharing and seek support
FundingSource wallet or payment recordsCircular funds or full funding by the referrerDisclose the funding relationship
Trading decisionsWho chooses and places ordersOne person coordinates orders across accountsStop coordinated activity
Referral purposeWhy the link was usedFees or commissions are the primary objectiveDo not treat the activity as genuine contribution
Economic resultWho receives profits, losses, and rewardsResults return to a common beneficiaryDo not assume customer independence

Consider two contrasting examples. In the first, a customer receives a link from an affiliate, registers independently, uses personal funds, controls authentication, and trades without the affiliate directing orders. The relationship is closer to a genuine referral, although campaign and regional requirements still apply. In the second, an affiliate opens or operates an account under a relative's name, funds it, directs the trades, and keeps both the trading result and commission. The different name does not remove the common-control and indirect-self-referral risk.

An employee is not automatically independent or automatically prohibited. If a company owns the funds, credentials, strategy, and economic result, describing the account as an employee account does not resolve common control. If the employee is genuinely an independent user, retain evidence that the employee controls the account and bears the result. When the facts are mixed, ask Toobit before promoting or trading through the relationship.

Reconcile commissions without inventing a contract rate

The Affiliate Agreement says Toobit's systems and rules determine attribution and commissions. It also requires an affiliate to notify Toobit in writing within ten business days after receiving a commission report if the affiliate wants to dispute it. Otherwise, Toobit's records may become final. A practical reconciliation file should contain:

  • the official Affiliate Code or Link and campaign name;
  • the dashboard attribution timestamp and status;
  • a report separating trading volume, eligible fees, adjustments, and commission;
  • notices about holds, exclusions, cancellations, or clawbacks;
  • support tickets and the date of written notice;
  • the marketing statement used and any required written advertising approval.

A numerical example can explain the audit but cannot establish a rate. Suppose a dashboard displays 1,000 USDT of eligible fees and a 30% commission. The arithmetic expectation is 300 USDT. If Toobit excludes 200 USDT of fees after identifying related-account activity, the illustrative base becomes 800 USDT and the arithmetic becomes 240 USDT. The actual payout still depends on the dashboard definition, currency, threshold, schedule, and adjustments. The example is not a representation of TradePayback's or Toobit's current contract terms.

What to do when a relationship may be prohibited

First, stop creating accounts and applying referral links. Second, do not add trades, transfers, or withdrawals intended to make the accounts look independent. Third, prepare a factual map of UIDs, ownership, control, funding sources, trading decision makers, and beneficiaries. Fourth, open a written case through the Affiliate dashboard or Support Center. Fifth, keep the amount in a pending category until Toobit responds.

Toobit's policy allows affected trading activity to be excluded from affiliate calculations. It also allows commissions, rewards, rebates, bonuses, or vouchers to be withheld, cancelled, adjusted, or recovered. During a review, the platform may temporarily restrict withdrawals, transfers, trading, campaigns, affiliate privileges, or other functions, request additional information, or restrict, suspend, or terminate related accounts. These are possible measures, not a prediction that every case will receive every measure.

Do not publish evasion instructions. The compliance notice says Toobit may protect internal risk parameters, thresholds, models, monitoring rules, and detection methods. The defensible response is accurate disclosure and written confirmation, not experimentation with devices, networks, wallets, or identities.

Keep promotion within the affiliate agreement

The Affiliate Agreement requires truthful, non-misleading promotion and prohibits guaranteed-profit or exaggerated claims. Paid advertising, raffles, giveaways, or promotions that reference Toobit require prior written approval. Affiliate links must direct users to official Toobit websites or applications; cloning or mimicking the site is prohibited.

A cashback or rebate page should therefore distinguish three layers: Toobit's public platform rules, the affiliate's account-specific agreement, and any separate TradePayback service terms. Do not describe a third-party payment as if it were a universal Toobit entitlement. Avoid claims such as every account qualifies, payment is guaranteed, or the structure cannot be detected. When a private agreement conflicts with a current public rule or dashboard notice, pause the claim and obtain clarification.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a different device or IP make the referred account independent?

No. Toobit states that different devices, IP addresses, identity information, payment methods, or wallet addresses do not by themselves establish independence. Control, purpose, funding, trading behavior, and economic outcomes may be assessed together.

Are referrals to relatives or employees always prohibited?

The relationship label alone is not decisive. Determine who owns and controls the account, supplies funds, makes decisions, and receives the result. If control is common or coordinated, the relationship can present indirect-self-referral risk.

Is only the commission affected if self-referral is found?

Not necessarily. The policy permits exclusion of activity, withholding or recovery of benefits, temporary restrictions, requests for additional verification, and account or affiliate suspension or termination. The response depends on the circumstances.

How quickly must an affiliate dispute a report?

The Affiliate Agreement specifies written notice within ten business days after receipt of the commission report. Include the UID, reporting period, disputed line item, dashboard evidence, and ticket record.

Final decision rule

A genuine referral is supported by real user independence and genuine economic activity, not by the number of emails, devices, or wallets. Self-referral, indirect self-referral, common-control accounts, and volume created primarily to generate commissions or rewards fall within Toobit's stated prohibited categories. Even an approved affiliate link does not authorize those activities. If independence cannot be documented, do not recognize the commission as final; review the current Support Center notices and dashboard terms and obtain a written response from Toobit.
