PU PRIME Cashback: Match Eligible Trades to Customer Settlements

Which PU PRIME account and trading volume should I use for a rebate check?

Link the client profile to the actual trading-account number and eligible activity. Separate the pricing schedule from the customer settlement agreement before investigating a missing amount.

Reconcile the eligible volume before a missing amount

Start with a completed period and the closed trades you want reviewed. Use one time zone consistently. Record the traded symbols, actual statement costs and the volume you believe is eligible. Put open positions in a separate group until the arrangement's eligibility rules make clear how they are treated. Do not assume that opening a position and closing it are interchangeable settlement events.

For a teaching example, suppose the customer counted 4.8 lots but the review confirms 4.2 eligible lots. With a fictional rebate of 1.5 units per eligible lot, the working estimate is 6.3 units. A 7.2-unit estimate would rely on the larger unconfirmed volume. Ask about the 0.6-lot difference first; this is not evidence that a 0.9-unit payment was withheld.

After volume is agreed, compare the calculated amount with the payment record and note any confirmed rounding or currency conversion. Keep the original values so a small difference can be explained. Do not “correct” the recorded statement to match an expected number. The purpose of reconciliation is to explain differences, including the possibility that the original expectation used the wrong base.

Read Standard and Prime as different cost packages

The PU Prime account comparison distinguishes spread-based Standard pricing from Prime pricing with a separate commission. Its Standard-versus-Prime help article also notes product-dependent conditions. Do not turn an account-level forex example into a claim that stock CFDs, metals and every other instrument have identical charges.

For a new comparison, write down the instrument, contract size, account currency and expected holding period. If the quotation says “from” a spread level, treat it as a starting quotation rather than the spread every execution will receive. If you already have a statement, the actual recorded charge is more useful for a historical enquiry than a fresh estimate based on today's marketing page.

Avoid selecting the account with the most attractive cashback label before checking the underlying price. A rebate may reduce an eligible cost while a larger spread or a different commission structure changes the overall result. Keep both the original cost and the rebate visible so that the same adjustment is not deducted twice.

Check the published forex commission and small-lot rounding

At the source check on 16 October 2026, PU Prime's account table lists Prime commission at USD 3.50 per side per standard lot and ECN at USD 1 per side per lot. The Prime example for 0.01 lot gives USD 0.035 per side, rounded to USD 0.04 by MetaTrader. That means a two-side 0.01-lot example can show USD 0.08 rather than an unrounded USD 0.07. Confirm the applicable product and account terms; these are public pricing examples, not customer cashback rates.

The rounding distinction is useful when a small-position statement differs from a proportional spreadsheet estimate. Calculate the unrounded amount, then compare the actual per-side charge instead of rounding only once at the end of a month's total. Keep that difference out of the missing-rebate column until the fee itself has been reconciled.

Construct a comparison using money, not mixed percentages

The following numbers are fictional. Suppose an account A quotation produces 11 units of spread cost, no separate commission and 2 units of confirmed customer rebate. Account B produces 3 units of spread cost, 7 units of round-turn commission and 1 unit of confirmed rebate. Both have an estimated net execution cost of 9 units before holding costs. Neither result establishes a current offer from PU Prime.

Now suppose the second account's relevant spread estimate changes from 3 to 5 units under your chosen market assumption. Its estimated cost becomes 11 after the same rebate. The example isolates why rebate size alone does not settle the comparison. It also shows that the assumptions need to stay attached to the result when you save the worksheet.

InputRecord before calculating
InstrumentExact symbol and contract specification
Trade sizeLots and the relevant contract unit
SpreadThe assumption or actual execution evidence
CommissionPer side, round turn, currency and product
Other costsHolding charges or other separately applicable items
RebateVerified base, share or per-lot amount

Do not compare a commission percentage with a per-lot rebate until you have converted both to the same trade size and currency. Likewise, a percentage of a partner's revenue is not automatically a percentage of your entire spread. Ask for the denominator in words. If that denominator is unknown, the spreadsheet should say “not confirmed” instead of manufacturing a precise saving.

Keep the IB agreement out of the customer cost column

PU Prime's IB rebate explanation says the structure depends on the individual affiliate agreement. This is a reason to confirm the applicable arrangement, not a basis for assuming one universal rate for all clients. The fact that a partner program exists does not determine what any particular customer receives from a separate service.

Ask TradePayback to identify the eligible trading account, supported instruments, calculation unit and settlement period for your customer arrangement. If the answer uses lots, ask how partial closes and ineligible trades are treated. If it uses a percentage, ask which cost or revenue measure it applies to. Keep the answer with its date so later account changes do not silently overwrite an earlier agreement.

The PU PRIME service page contains the centrally maintained signup destination and current service information. This article deliberately does not invent a fixed customer rebate amount. TradePayback may be compensated through a partner relationship; that commercial relationship should be disclosed separately from the amount confirmed for your own account.

Use three account identifiers correctly

A client portal profile identifies the customer relationship. A trading account identifies the account on which positions and charges are recorded. An MT5 server helps identify where that trading account is hosted. When contacting support, say which identifier you are providing rather than sending an unexplained number and expecting the team to infer its meaning.

If you have multiple trading accounts, prepare separate rows. A rebate confirmation for one account should not be extended to another account just because both appear in the same portal. Account type, platform or partner attribution may differ. Ask whether each relevant account is included before combining their trading activity in a single payment estimate.

Do not send a portal password, trading password or verification code for a rebate review. If a statement is needed, redact unrelated personal information while preserving the rows required to understand the disputed charges. Ask why any additional information is necessary. A well-structured enquiry needs enough evidence to identify the cost, not access to operate the account.

FAQ

Does no separate commission mean Standard has no fees?

No. Review the spread and any other applicable costs. Account pricing is a package, and the relevant charges depend on the product and conditions. A cost comparison should show the monetary effect of all included items rather than treating one empty commission field as proof of free execution.

Is a PU PRIME fee discount always paid as cash?

No such conclusion follows from the phrase alone. Ask whether the offer changes pricing, pays a customer rebate or describes a promotional benefit with separate conditions. Record the form of the benefit and the party responsible for it. Do not treat a partner commission or restricted credit as cash you have received.

Can an existing account receive the same arrangement as a new signup?

That needs confirmation for the actual account. Describe your existing relationship before attempting another registration. An additional trading account and a newly attributed customer are different concepts. Do not assume that a new MT5 login changes the parent customer's referral relationship.

What should I ask when the displayed rate and my calculation differ?

Ask for the exact eligible base, product coverage, trading-account attribution and period boundary. Present one representative trade with its statement record, then the larger period total. This gives the reviewer a reproducible example instead of an unsupported assertion that all account costs should receive the displayed percentage.

For related services, see the CFD information page. For account creation, use the separate registration guide and the current broker instructions. Cost savings do not remove market risk, and a rebate should not be used as a reason to increase position size or create extra fee-generating trades.
