Vantage Cashback: Reconcile Eligible Trades and Customer Payments

Vantage cashback reconciliation starts with the payment promised to the trader, not the commission earned by an introducing broker. This guide asks which trades belong in the customer settlement and how to investigate a difference between the agreed calculation and the amount received. Account costs provide context for that reconciliation; they do not establish a customer rebate entitlement or prove that an arrangement transfers to a different trading account.
Identify the pricing model before the rebate
Vantage's official commission schedule separates account currencies and products. Its RAW ECN account page describes a separate commission alongside raw spreads, while Standard STP uses a spread-based pricing model. Check the specification applying to your contracting entity, account and symbol rather than extending a general forex example to every CFD.
The practical comparison is the amount paid for the same type of transaction under clearly stated assumptions. Record the account currency, instrument, position size, entry and exit assumptions, and holding period. A smaller quoted spread does not by itself establish the lower final cost if commission or financing differs. Equally, no separate commission does not mean there is no trading cost.
If you already have an account, use the account statement as the starting evidence. If you are evaluating a new account, label every estimated input and leave the unknown inputs blank. This prevents a prospective cost estimate being presented later as a broker-confirmed charge or a customer payout entitlement.
Read the USD schedule without applying it to every asset
The commission page checked on 16 October 2026 lists RAW ECN forex commission for a USD account as USD 3 per side, USD 6 round turn per standard lot. Its product table separately lists ETFs and share CFDs, with different units and minimums for some markets. This is an account-and-product quotation, not a promise of USD 6 for every instrument or every account currency.
For a proportional teaching calculation using that stated forex rate, 0.5 standard lot on both sides would imply USD 3 round-turn commission before any applicable adjustment. Confirm the actual statement and specification. A share-CFD charge quoted per trade or as a percentage cannot be substituted into that calculation as though it were a forex per-lot amount.
A worksheet for comparing two account quotations
Prepare one row per account quotation, keeping the instrument and trade size consistent. For spread cost, confirm the symbol's tick or pip value and contract size before converting points into money. Do not assume one lot represents the same exposure across forex, gold and an index CFD. A decimal-place difference can materially change the comparison.
| Column | What to record |
|---|---|
| Account and currency | The exact quotation being compared |
| Spread cost estimate | Monetary cost under a stated spread assumption |
| Commission | Opening, closing or round-turn basis |
| Holding and other costs | Separate amounts, with their own assumptions |
| Confirmed eligible rebate | Only the portion covered by the agreement |
| Estimated net cost | The sum of costs less that rebate |
For a fictional same-sized trade, suppose quotation A has 9 currency units of spread cost, no separate commission and a confirmed 1-unit rebate. Quotation B has 2 units of spread cost, 6 units of round-turn commission and a confirmed 0.5-unit rebate. Before holding costs, A's net cost is 8 and B's is 7.5. These are invented teaching inputs, not current Vantage prices or TradePayback terms.
The example shows why a larger rebate amount is not automatically a cheaper account. It also shows why comparing a percentage of one base with a percentage of another base can mislead. Keep the cost before rebate visible, so the benefit does not conceal an unsuitable starting cost.
Per side and round turn must share the same unit
A per-side commission describes one side of a transaction, while a round-turn quotation covers the defined opening and closing cycle. Read the schedule's labels before combining them. Do not add a published round-turn figure once at entry and once again at exit. When checking actual records, use the commission debits shown rather than assuming the statement follows your preferred presentation.
Partial closes deserve a separate line in the worksheet. Match the charged commission and any rebate base to the volume actually included. If one position is closed in several pieces, a single position identifier may be insufficient to explain the fee timing. Preserve the underlying deal references when available and ask support how the reported volume is defined.
Currency is another independent variable. A commission displayed in the account's currency cannot be compared to a rebate quoted in a different currency without a conversion assumption. Record that assumption separately. A changed conversion rate can explain part of a difference without implying that the commission or rebate share itself changed.
Who pays the rebate, and when is it eligible?
The Vantage partner FAQ describes the broker's introducing-broker process and distinguishes live-account referral links from demo links. Its explanation of IB payment timing concerns the broker-to-partner relationship. It does not establish when TradePayback must pay an individual customer or that every account is attached to the same partner arrangement.
Ask for your customer arrangement in writing: the relevant trading account, eligible products, volume definition, excluded costs, settlement period and destination. A statement such as “per eligible closed lot” needs an explanation of what counts as eligible and how partial closes are handled. If the agreement is percentage-based, identify whether the base is commission, another revenue measure or a specified fee amount.
Do not use the public maximum of a partner marketing program as your personal rebate. The TradePayback Vantage page provides the current service entry and signup destination. The actual customer application still needs confirmation. TradePayback may receive partner compensation; customer cashback must be distinguished from that compensation rather than assumed to be identical to it.
Submit a precise Vantage cashback enquiry
For initial registration, provide the broker name and the trading-account identifier requested through TradePayback's consultation channel. A portal user profile and an MT5 trading login can be different identifiers, so label which one you are submitting. Include the server only when it helps distinguish the trading account. Never include the trading password or one-time verification codes.
For a payment discrepancy, use a completed period and list a few representative closed trades. Include the symbol, eligible-volume assumption, statement costs, expected calculation and amount actually received. Ask the team to identify a specific mismatch: account attribution, period boundary, volume eligibility, rebate base or payment status. That structure produces a question that can be answered from records.
In a fictional review, suppose a customer counted 12 lots but only 9 lots were confirmed eligible under the agreement. If the hypothetical payment is 2 units per eligible lot, the working estimate is 18 units, not 24. The unresolved question is why three lots were excluded. Do not infer a missing 6-unit payment before establishing the eligible volume.
FAQ
Is a Vantage fee discount the same as later cashback?
No. One changes the applicable charge or price; the other returns an amount after eligibility is assessed under a separate arrangement. You may compare their combined monetary effect only after confirming each base. Avoid adding percentage labels or deducting a later rebate twice from a statement that already includes an adjustment.
Can I calculate gold rebates using a forex lot example?
Only if the agreement and symbol specification support the same unit and eligibility. Do not assume they do. Ask for the product-specific rule and keep gold, forex and other CFDs separate until the bases have been confirmed. A familiar lot size label is not sufficient evidence of equal commission or equal rebate.
Does installing MT5 activate a Vantage rebate?
Installing the terminal does not verify the referral relationship or customer arrangement. Confirm the trading account with the broker and the settlement service. If you have an existing account, ask about its eligibility before opening another one. A terminal login is evidence of access, not evidence of cashback approval.
Should I increase volume to obtain more cashback?
Do not expand trading merely to generate fees. A rebate cannot make a losing strategy profitable by definition, and leverage can increase losses. Compare cost for trading you already intend to evaluate, using consistent assumptions. Stop the calculation at “unknown” when the agreement is not clear instead of filling the gap with the most attractive advertised number.
Use the CFD comparison page to navigate the available broker information, then verify the chosen account's current conditions. Review this worksheet again if you change account type, currency, symbol or partner arrangement. Keep the prior version for historical reconciliations so a new quotation does not overwrite the assumptions behind an earlier payment enquiry.
